Location

We are right in the historic centre of Tuscany between Pisa, Rome and Florence airports placed on the south-eastern side of Mount Ami, in the province of Roccalbegna. The estate is located between the picturesque towns and villages of Grosetto, Cana, Santa Catarina and Valerona.

Located 2.5km from the centre of the 13th century village of Cana. Home to award winning restaurant “Da Noi a Cana”, “Rocca aldobrandesca” (13th century), a fortress built by Aldobrandeschi family and a “Medicean well”, a 17th-century well built by The House of Medici, the historically wealthiest Italian Renaissance family. And 2km from Villa Patrizia, a traditional family owned winery from Tuscany, founded in 1968 by Romeo and Maria Bruni and even today goes on producing organically grown craft wines.

Take the A12 Motorway Rome-Civitavecchia direction and then follow for State Road 1 (SS 1) Aurelia as far as the exit for Grosseto Est

Take the A1 Motorway Florence-Siena direction and follow onto State Road 223 (SS223) –E7 for Paganico, Santa Caterina

8. Is Monte Faete wheelchair accessible?

Due to the wild topography and off-road access, the resort is not suitable for wheelchairs and is best suited for physically active guests. Paths are uneven, and access roads are unpaved. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us in advance to discuss options.

Villa Sunoom and AROHA Hideaways location lends itself perfectly to the organisation of retreats, private and corporate events, in an unconventional isolated location perfect for intimate getaways and team building.

The premises are perfect for: team building / business retreat, yoga retreat, family and friends gateway, private wedding location. The property is safe, surrounded with woods and hills. A river, dirt roads and a private gate needs to be passed in order to get here. A car is needed in order to get to the location.

Mr Erasmo and Mrs Petra Ciotti can also organise day tours to the wineries and restaurants, trip to hot springs, coast trips / beaches, Punto Allo and other local towns (additionally charged).

You might enjoy: The Spa area including the hot tub, sun-beds, and a pool with the view of Tuscany hills. Mountain biking and hiking are fun outdoors activities that visitors usually enjoy as well, besides sipping on famous Tuscany wines next to the pool. Olive oil is being produces from the olive trees at the property that guests tend to like and use daily. Various spaces throughout the grounds allow you to organise meetings, small conferences and celebrations for any number of guests. Arrangement for larger groups maybe accommodated upon request and require outside catering and production.

Villa Sunoom and AROHA Hideaways is the ideal location for any kind of private party, which will leave your guests with no words. The Il Niccioleto residence and forests can sleep up to 20 guests of your private event, with the use of the beautiful swimming pool, outdoor dining and bbq area, gardens and other services associated with them.

We can provide drivers, cars, chefs or masseuses. Yoga mats and other sporting equipment and bike rental is provided upon request.
